Custom exterior signage that appropriately reflects your business image is one of the most important investments your business will make. At Iconography Studios, we make the entire process from design through installation easy.
We’ve developed a streamlined, simple process that ensures your sign will be the best possible sign for your business and your budget, covering all aspects of design, material selection, construction, permitting and installation. Here’s an overview of what you can expect when you work with the experts at Iconography Studios for all of your signage needs:
1. CONSULTATION – First and foremost, we want to understand your business and your objectives for your signage. Do you want to call attention to passerby both during the day and at night? Is your business easy for customers to locate? Is brand recognition an integral part of your signage plan? Our expert account managers will meet with you to discuss your specific needs and goals.
2. DESIGN – Once we have a good understanding of your goals and objectives for your signage, along with your current branding and corporate identity package, we can begin recommending the best types of signs to meet your needs. Size, materials, design, methods of fabrication, and installation location will all be taken into account with your budget and your goals in mind. During the design phase we will make recommendations as well as provide you with proofs and samples so that you can provide input to the process. Once you have approved a final design, including the materials and methods of fabrication, we will then move to the production phase of your sign project.
3. PRODUCTION – During this phase, we take the final design and begin putting together all of the different components for fabricating your sign. Depending on your design, this phase can include a combination of any of the following: large format digital printing; laminating; router cutting letters and logos from a wide variety of materials such as pvc, acrylic, foam, aluminum, wood or glass; painting, etc. Some components of your sign may be assembled and finished in our shop, and other parts may be finished at the job site. Once your sign components have all been fabricated, finished and assembled, your sign is ready for installation.
4. INSTALLATION – Your sign was partly designed and constructed based on where and how it would be installed. Foam letters are easily flush-mounted to smoother wall surfaces such as painted concrete and drywall. Sturdier materials may have been selected for outdoor signs that will be exposed to the elements. Stud mounts may be included if your sign letters are very large or heavy. Regardless of the location or installation service, our team will make sure your sign is properly installed so that it looks great for years to come!
