Phenix Salon Suites opened its new location in Santa Monica, CA, and were in need of an upscale sign to meet their neighborhood. This sign was constructed using acrylic letters that are pushed through a shaped aluminum backer. The cabinet face is painted black to showcase the metallic silver painted letter faces.  At night, the internal light escapes through the sides of the letters to provide illumination.
