The vehicle wrap experts at Iconography are proud to have taken this stock silver BMW 650i to a detailed matte white finish for a client located in Newport Beach, CA.
Using Oracal’s 970 RA wrapping cast material in a matte white, this car was wrapped bumper to bumper. Following our standard procedures for color change wraps, we dropped the bumpers, headlights, mirrors and door handles to get a smooth, seamless finish around all edges. The entire process takes a week – and rush orders are not available for this level of detailed work.
We use the only wrap materials made specifically for matte vehicle wraps on the market. There are three manufacturers to choose from: 3M, Avery and Oracal. Each material is a 4 mil wrapping cast (NOT a sign vinyl) and will perform well. The biggest difference in the materials in the finish – each is slightly different – some have more of a sheen and some are flatter. Each manufacturer also offers slightly different colors.
Our prices for matte wraps start in the low $3000.00 range, and prices depend on several factors such as the current color of your car, any after-market modifications or body kits, and the level of detail you prefer on the finish work.
We strongly recommend having any body work done prior to wrapping the vehicle as any dings, nicks or gouges will be visible under the wrap. Painting is not required – just patch/fill and primer.
