Local Long Beach company SCAN Health Plan has added graphics to their company Sprinter van with a partial wrap.
A partial graphic wrap is a great way to get your advertisement, brand or message on to your vehicle, at a fraction of the cost of a full graphic wrap. A partial wrap uses less material than a full wrap, as well as less installation time, which means the entire project costs less. A partial wrap integrates the base color of the vehicle into the overall design of the wrap. so if you are planning on a partial wrap for your single vehicle or fleet, it is a good idea to have a design concept or at the very least a color scheme in mind before you purchase your vehicles.
At Iconography, we always use a special 3M material made specifically for Sprinter vans when we wrap them, whether it is a full wrap or a partial wrap. The Sprinter vans and a few other vehicles have deep contours in the body lines that require a special 3M vehicle wrap material to adhere well and not lift or bubble over the lift of the wrap. Many wrap shops shy away from this material, because it requires a special post-heat treatment to ensure it stays put. Not all installers have the knowledge or skill for this particular installation. Be sure to ask your vehicle wrap provider if they are using 3M’s IJ380 CV3 on your Sprinter van wrap. If not, you are not getting the best solution available.
