Custom indoor signs made from gatorfoam and finished with custom paint colors or a custom are both sturdy and economical. These signs were manufactured for Vh1’s West Coast headquarters in Santa Monica, CA.
Gatorfoam is the industry’s leading heavy-duty foam board. It is a lightweight, rigid material with a dense polystyrene core bonded between two layers of a wood fiber veneer surface that is impregnated with resin for water resistance. This makes it an excellent material for custom signage, as it is easily cut into just about any size or shape. The surface can be painted to match your custom PMS colors, or finished with a digital print for custom graphics.
Gatorfoam signs can be cut from almost any thickness ranging from 3/16″ up to 2″, depending on the depth preferred and the graphics involved. The signs can be mounted directly to the wall as shown here, or pin mounted to the wall so that it stands off, creating additional depth and dimension. Gatorfoam signs can also be adhered to sign boards or backers in a variety of colors and materials, creating even more dimension and allowing the sign to be easily relocated.
